The hardshell fit sample should allow the intended layers and movements without excessive pulling at the shoulders, elbows or hem. Evaluate reaching, bending and arm elevation with the planned layering system. Check that cuffs, hood and hem adjustments remain usable and that pocket placement is appropriate for the intended equipment. Confirm the approved ease and articulation in the pattern specification.
